RECIPE

1 cup coarsely ground roasted groundnut

2 cups Sugar

*¼ tsp Salt (optional)

PROCEDURE

In a clean pot on medium-low heat, melt sugar slowly till it comes to a comes to light caramel colour

Turn the heat down, and stir in the coarsely ground, groundnuts. Stir it in properly

Stir until well incorporated

On a lined tray, pour the hot paste and let it spread. You should try to get it to a ¼ inch thickeness.

As it cools, use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to score the cooling candy. This helps to cut the candy into shapes before it is cool. If you wait till it is cool to cut, it will break into shapeless shards.

When cool take the candy apart and store in an airtight container.
