His Side Chick Called On Video Call And I Picked Up

My husband left home and forgot to take his phone. While the phone was in my hand, a video call came in. I tapped on the “Accept” icon, and it was a woman who looked like she was caught with her hand in the cookie jar. Judging from our history, I concluded she must have been one of his side chicks. The moment she saw my face, she quickly ended the call. That single act made me feel I was right.

I tried calling her back, but she refused to answer. So, I sent her a message. She replied. I asked her why she was calling someone’s husband. “Di you know he is married?” She said yes. She told me she was also married and that they were just friends.

It took everything for me not to scream the words, “I know you’re lying. I am holding my husband’s phone. I can see your entire chat. I know you’re not married.”

That was when she started telling me a lot of things about my husband. Things that were not revealed in their chat. Things that were personal and intimate. “I already know about your relationship but I am not here to attack you. I just want to say I leave you to God,” I warned her.

I was going about my business today when she called again today. My husband hasn’t returned from his trip so I’m still in possession of his phone. This time around she didn’t hung up at the sound of my voice. Rather, she started begging me to forgive her.

She claimed my husband was the one who was always chasing her, and when she found out he was married, she began ignoring him.

I know she is lying. I have  seen all their chats. Her birthday is coming soon. In their messages, she asked him to buy her a particular gift. Then she warned him that if he didn’t buy it, she’d show him her bad side, whatever that means.

By the time our call ended today, she pleaded for forgiveness and promised to block him. My question is: should I delete the messages between her and me from his phone, or should I leave them for him to see when he comes back?

For context, my husband lacks nothing from me. He’s the kind of man who doesn’t know how to do anything by himself, not even how to make his own meals. When it comes to the kids, he is completely clueless. I do everything for him.

On top of that he is always broke. Most of the time I take care of the home with my money. He doesn’t know how I keep our home running but he is out there womanizing. The interesting part is that no matter how careful he is, anytime he gets a new side chick, somehow, I always find out.
