High salary blocks Adegbenro’s return to Sweden

Samuel Adegbenro’s return to Sweden looks very unlikely because of the high salary he earns at his Chinese club.

The striker has recently been linked with Swedish club Djurgarden.

Djurgarden sports director Bosse Andersson has said a transfer is unlikely.

“I don’t think so (he will transfer),” he said.

“The position is that he should remain in China as it is slightly different situation than last summer(when player was on loan in Norway).”

Adegbenro distinguished himself at Swedish club IFK Norrkoping before he moved to Chinese club Beijing Guoan.

He recently played on loan at Norwegian club Viking.
