Former Super Eagles captain Sunday Oliseh has lauded Alex Iwobi for becoming the first Nigerian player to reach 300 Premier League appearances.

Iwobi hit the milestone during Fulham’s clash with Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Saturday.

The 29-year-old made his Premier League debut for Arsenal in October 2015 against Swansea City and has since played for Arsenal (100 appearances), Everton (123), and Fulham (77).

Reacting to the achievement, Oliseh praised Iwobi’s consistency and growth over the years.
