Guest Performers Does Not Guarantee Church Growth — Didi-Omah Augustine Chinazaekpere Tells Pastors

Many growing churches, many Christian organisations have this poor belief of pouring millions into inviting guest artists to perform on their programmes. 

Which is wrong! I have never come across any scriptures of the Bible, that permit entertainment on the alter. 

How long will you continue to be paying guest artists to be performing on your alter? How can you be paying someone to join you, praise God in your church, on your alter — that which your choir and church members are doing from their hearts and for free. 

I can't pay you to come, join me in praising God on a program — Christianity is to save souls and letting people come to the knowledge of the truth, and not entertaining crowds. 

Your alter must be spiritually sanctified, spirit-filled and carry fire. A ground that possessed fire, have zero space for entertainment. 

Yes, the church should be a place for discovering, nurturing, empowering and promoting talents — in worship to Adonay. Talents to serve God in truth and in spirit — giving glory to God, and not using activities of the church for comedy statements. 

Guest performers does not guarantee church growth. The guest artists may drive audiences, that is only for the duration of the programme — you will then use them to raise money through offerings and other means. 

But your church will not grow, that is the truth. It is the teaching of the truth, life applicatable knowledge and salvation of the soul — offering values and relevant information; these are what grows a church. 

When people start seeing how your messages inform, teach, transform and they confirm it in their lives — you will not only grow the church greatly, you are raising people. The money will be your follower, your needs will be taken care of!

Stop paying people to grow your audience by using your alter in form of, you are hosting a program. Teach relevant applicatable knowledge, life transforming insights, empowering teachings and salvation of the soul.

You will see how your local church, will became a global church in Jesus Christ. Don't raise money, raise people!
