GIFTED BUT NOT LIFTED...

Go to where young people play football on the street, you will find one who plays so well that you wonder why they are not as big as Lionel Messi. 

Go to churches and you will find talented singers who sing better than Sinach but are not as big as Sinach.

The best writers most times are not even the bestselling authors and the bestselling authors are not always the best authors...

As you observe these realities, you will realise that Gift is not enough - You need to be Seen/Heard to be successful.

Visibility is the key to success. If your gifts are not seen, your talents will remain unprofitable. 

If you are talented or skilled, your next strategy should be how to be seen and how to be heard.

In my case, I knew I had so much to offer but nobody was paying attention. I intentionally used CONTROVERSY to set a fire in the bush that gave me visibility. I was never afraid to say something different - I knew that standing out from the crowd means thinking outside the box. And if you think outside the box, you will be tagged controversial but you will catch their attention. I did so and it worked. Today, Facebook tells me that my posts reach over 3 million people and the numbers are still growing. 

Note: don't seek for visibility when you have nothing to show and stop seeking to be heard when you are saying nothing different.

If you are gifted but not lifted, device a means to get seen. Do something that will make you stand out and be heard. Stop being afraid of being called arrogant, I-Too-Know or Controversial. Those who call You such are EMPTY and envious of you. Chase your dreams and get fulfilled. You can never grow bigger than your level of visibility. Be visible and you will be lifted.
