BREAKING: Nigerien Troops Ambush Boko Haram Militants, Recovered Weapons, Over 11 Million Naira Cash

GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that in a daring raid, the Niger troops has ambushed Boko Haram militants attempting to flee the border town of Gabti in Mobbar Local Government Area of Borno State into the neighboring country, Niger Republic.

According to a report by Zagazola, a counter insurgency reporter on ‘X’, the operation was a resounding success.

Reports have it that a terrorist was neutralized during the operation, with weapons and cash seized.

The troops recovered two AK-47 rifles, hand grenades and ammunition, as well as over 11 million naira in cash.

They also rescued 11 Nigerian citizens who had been held hostage by the terrorists.
