Ghanaian rapper Odeneho Cannella officially rebrands as Cannella

Ghanaian rapper Cannella has officially announced a significant evolution in her brand identity, marking a new chapter in her artistic journey.

Formerly known as Odeneho Cannella, the artist will now operate simply under the name Cannella, effective immediately.

The name Odeneho Cannella was adopted in 2020 following the release of her song “Odeneho”, which received strong public reception and became a defining moment in her early career. After five years of artistic growth and self-discovery, the artist is stepping forward with a renewed focus, confidence, and expanded creative vision.

“This transition represents my growth as a performer and my readiness to take on bigger roles in the music industry,” Cannella explains. “My sound, energy, and story have evolved, and my identity as an artist must reflect that evolution. This is more than a name change—it is my renaissance.”
