Formula 1 Driver Sells His Restraint To Mansory

A Formula 1 star’s new Mansory creation boasts forged carbon, red details, and outrageous styling

Formula 1 Driver Sells His Restraint To Mansory
  • Mansory’s Lamborghini Revuelto gains forged carbon panels with red accents.
  • Forged carbon wing, diffuser, and new wheels make the supercar’s rear even wilder.
  • Bright red leather and a unique headliner with relocated start button stand out inside.

Have you ever stopped to think about the kind of person who ends up with a Mansory-modified supercar? In this case, it’s Formula 1 driver Esteban Ocon, who has taken delivery of the German tuner’s latest creation based on the Lamborghini Revuelto, not through a whim of taste but as part of a new partnership that puts Mansory’s logo on his helmet as well.

As you can already tell, for a driver usually associated with restraint off the track, it seems the Italian supercar is left to do all the shouting on his behalf.

The alterations made to this Lamborghini Revuelto are extensive, to put it mildly. For starters, most of the original body panels have been removed and replaced by lightweight, forged carbon fiber components. These start at the front end, where there is a bespoke hood with large new air vents and are complemented by a customized front bumper and chin spoiler.

While most of the bodywork is finished in either exposed forged carbon or gloss black, bright red adorns the front quarter panels and parts of the doors, as well as stripes running around the engine cover. Other significant changes made to the car’s bodywork include new side air vents and skirts.

Plenty is going on at the rear of the Revuelto, too. For starters, the original hydraulic rear wing has been replaced by one finished in forged carbon fiber and a more pronounced rear diffuser has also been added. A set of intricate aftermarket wheels finishes the look. While it’s hard to get behind some of Mansory’s projects, we don’t actually mind this one.

The unique touches haven’t stopped at the exterior. Found inside are areas of bright red leather, including on the dashboard and transmission tunnel. Ocon’s logo has also been added to the door panels and the headliner. The engine Start/Stop button has also been relocated to the headliner. Red seat belts complete the modifications.

As for performance, the German tuner hasn’t said whether any changes were made beneath the skin. Still, it’s safe to expect at least a revised exhaust system, ensuring the car’s voice is as loud as its styling
