Former Tory MP David Warburton Dies Three Years After Suspension and Two Years After Resigning Over S*x Scandal

Former Conservative MP David Warburton has died at his Chelsea home. He was pronounced dead last Tuesday after paramedics were called to the residence.

Warburton, 58, served as the Member of Parliament for Somerset and Frome for over eight years, from May 2015 until June 2023.

His political career came to an abrupt end after allegations of sexual harassment and Class A drug use surfaced. In April 2022, he was suspended from the Conservative Party following the scandal, and he formally resigned from his seat in June 2023.

The cause of his death has not yet been disclosed.
