Ford may have chickened out about electric vehicles in the US, but it hasn't abandoned its most precious EV project. The so-called "skunkworks team" appears to have made progress on the upcoming $30,000 electric truck. Ford CEO Jim Farley revealed during a recent interview that the truck is already in prototype phase and that a flurry of EVs will soon launch based on the Ford Universal EV Platform.
