Ethan Page, Giulia qualify for Iron Survivor Challenge matches

Qualifiers continued on NXT TV this week.

Qualifying matches for the upcoming Iron Survivor Challenge matches continued on this week’s episode of NXT with just one match in the men’s division and one in the women’s division.

First, Axiom tried to join his tag team partner in the match by defeating the man who most recently lost the NXT championship, Ethan Page. He couldn’t get the job done, however, as he was felled by a big lariat after a hard fought match.

Later, Giulia and former North American Champion Kelani Jordan had one hell of a back-and-forth battle that saw the former use the Northern Lights bomb to score the pinfall victory to advance.

There are now just two spots remaining in both matches, which will take place at Deadline in Minneapolis on Dec. 7, with one week of television left to decide who will make it in. The final matches will be “last chance” Fatal 4-Way matches featuring all the losers from the first four qualifiers.

The field for the men’s match: Wes Lee, Je’Von Evans, Nathan Frazer, Ethan Page, TBD

The field for the women’s match: Sol Ruca, Stephanie Vaquer, Zaria, Giulia, TBD
