Chelsea and Manchester City played out a thrilling 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, in one of the most entertaining Premier League matches this season.

Manchester City took the lead early on through Erling Haaland, but Chelsea equalised just four minutes later through Thiago Silva.

The hosts took their lead through Raheem Sterling, but City levelled through Manuel Akanji.

Manchester City restored their lead just two minutes into the second half through Erling Haaland, but Chelsea equalised for the second time shortly after through Nicholas Jackson.

The Citizens thought they had won the match in the 86th minute through Rodri’s goal, but Chelsea equalised for the third time deep into stoppage time through Cole Palmer’s penalty.

The draw leaves Chelsea in 10th place in the Premier League table, while City go one point clear at the top of the table.

The draw was a fair result, but both teams will be disappointed not to have won.

Chelsea will feel that they missed out on a golden opportunity to close the gap on the top four, while City will be disappointed to have conceded four goals.

It remains to be seen who will win the Premier League title this season, but both Chelsea and City will be contenders.
