Elon Musk’s X Suspends Twitter’s Account For Violation Of Rules

X on Sunday suspended Twitter’s account in a move that deleted, replacing its profile with a standard notice stating the account violates rules.

Recall Elon Musk famously changed the name from Twitter to X in July 2023, about six months after he bought the social media app for $44 billion.

Users who looked for the @Twitter handle on Sunday received a bold notification saying “Account Suspended.”

According to the message on the account page, X stated that the account was suspended because it broke the rules. The platform did not explain which rules were broken or how long the suspension would last.

The action has left many confused because X was earlier called Twitter before it changed its name in 2023.
