This week, Billboard‘s New Music Latin roundup and playlist — curated by Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors — feature fresh new releases from artists like Eladio Carrión, Juanes, Karol G, Anitta, Alex Fernández and more.

The year may be winding down, but that hasn’t stopped Latin artists from gifting new music to fans. In fact, Karol G dropped the perfect end-of-the-year song where she traces the milestones she’s achieved this year that’ve made her realize: “Que Chimba de Vida (What a Cool Life).” The new song, produced by MAG and Edgar Barrera, fuses música mexicana with subtle trap beats.

Meanwhile, Puerto Rican hitmaker Eladio Carrión showcases a more tender side of him. In the emotive ballad “TQMQA” — an acronym for “te quiero más que ayer” (which translates to “I love you more than yesterday”) — the Puerto Rican artist serenades listeners against an Afrobeats-inspired rhythm. “Timely in its release, it resonates with the universal longing for familial connection, especially poignant during the holiday season,” writes Billboard Español’s Isabela Raygoza.

Other releases included in the roundup include Juanes’ Western-influenced “Nacimos Solos”; Alex Fernández’s “Mi Abuelo Vino a Visitarme” in honor of his late grandfather, the iconic Vicente Fernández; and Anitta’s new baile funk “Joga Pra Lua.”

In the New Music Latin fan-voted poll of last week, Luis Vásquez’s “18” won with 38 percent of the votes. J Balvin’s “Amigos” followed with 37 percent and Diego Torres, Angela Torres and Benja Torres’ “Las Leyes de la Vida” was in third place with 12 percent.
