Easter Unity Gesture: Adamawa Gubernatorial Aspirant Galadima Wishes Christians Joyful Celebration

By Emmanuel Kwada

In a move widely interpreted as a strong signal of inclusivity and bridge-building ahead of the 2027 governorship election, Adamawa State gubernatorial aspirant and former Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) boss, Ahmed Tijjani Galadima, has released a special Easter message to Christian faithful across the state and Nigeria.

Accompanied by an elegant portrait card featuring the aspirant in a distinguished pose, the greeting from Galadima and his family reads: “Wishing all our Christian brothers and sisters a joyful and blessed Easter.”

The message, circulated widely on social media and through traditional channels, underscores Galadima’s commitment to religious harmony in a state known for its diverse Christian and Muslim populations.

Galadima, who earned national acclaim as the former Executive Secretary of the PTDF where he oversaw massive human capital development in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector, is leveraging his technocratic credentials to project himself as a unifying and development-focused leader.

Sources close to the aspirant say the Easter message forms part of a broader outreach campaign aimed at reassuring all segments of Adamawa society that his vision prioritises peace, equity and shared prosperity regardless of faith or ethnicity.

With the 2027 polls less than a year away, Galadima’s gesture is already generating positive reactions from Christian leaders and youth groups who see it as a refreshing departure from divisive politics.

The former PTDF boss is quietly building a broad-based coalition that cuts across religious and zonal lines, a critical factor in Adamawa’s complex political landscape.

As political conversations intensify, Galadima’s Easter message is being viewed not just as a seasonal greeting, but as an early declaration of his philosophy of inclusive leadership — one that seeks to heal divides and harness the state’s rich diversity for collective progress.
