DONKWA / TANFIRI

INGREDIENTS  

250 grams corn meal

70 grams ground peanut or groundnut powder

2 pinches of ground chilli powder

1 tablespoonful sugar

1pinch of ground clove (optional)

2 tablespoons of peanut oil or canola oil

2 tablespoons of water

METHOD OF PREPARATION

  1. Put your corn meal in a blender. Add groundnut, together with sugar, and blend all to a fine powder.

   2. Add a pinch of ground chilli pepper and ground cloves.

   3. Pour into a wide plate and add a little water and oil mix together.

   4. Then mold into balls.

   5. Use the back of your spoon, mash and then transfer to your hands and mold.

Serve with a chilled drink.
