Dodge Charger Wins North America Car Of The Year 2026

All-new, All-electric 2024 Dodge Charger Arrives As The World's Most Powerful Muscle Car, Available In Two Trims - autojosh

An expert jury of 50 automotive journalists from North America presented the awards for the 2026 North American Car of the Year today at the Detroit Auto Show.

Specifically, awards were given in three categories, namely 2026 North American Car, Utility Vehicle, and Truck of the Year.

So, the new Dodge Charger was chosen as the 2026 North American Car of the Year, while the Honda Prelude and Nissan Sentra placed behind it.

The 2026 Truck of the Year is the Ford Maverick Lobo, ahead of the Ram 2500 and Ram 1500.

The 2026 Utility Vehicle of the Year is the Hyundai Palisade, ahead of the Nissan Leaf and Lucid Gravity models.
