doacWeb's Founder, Didi-Omah, Finally Break Silence On doacWeb's Recent Downtime Due To High Traffic On Limited Disk Space Storage

Greetings Executive,

I am Didi-Omah Augustine Chinazaekpere, speaking to you from NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Wannune, Tarka LG, Benue State, Nigeria. I am fully aware about the 'ErrorException' that occurred due to 'Disk quota exceeded' but was discovered at the evening hours of Friday, May 1st, 2026 — which happens to be yesterday.

Last night was a busy night for me, I did slept — not fully. Because of what is currently affecting doacWeb, I had a closed door conversation with a representative from Truehost Nigeria, Lagos, over the phone. The good news is that we are upgrading from 'Shared Hosting' to 'Managed VPS'.

We (doacweb.com, Africa) strengthen our partnership at this time, Truehost Nigeria never leave us at the feet. This happened to be the third time, I have failed the company, my team, my board of directors, myself and our future. The first failure: happened in December 26, 2023 — when we lost the domain, Doactalk (doactalk.com), due to poor financial management. I took the blame, at that time, we achieved knowledge of creating professional email address: which led to launched of our top business email addresses, one for the public and another for within the company.

Executive, we contracted 2Star Technology to migrate our Doactalk from Google Domains to Truehost server, but they failed. We made mistake by not checking our project, and when the end time was near, we started running around and it was late. So many lessons was learnt, we can boldly migrate domain from one hosting company to another without contracting third parties.

We secured the next wave as doacWeb (doacweb.com) at night, that was Monday, February 26, 2024. 2Star Technology, Rivers State, and Truehost Nigeria, Lagos State. I was at Bayelsa, with two different companies in these states. Bayelsa, Rivers and Lagos — all working for doacWeb, that same night, we successful launched the new name, doacWeb. New name, same platform, new features added.

The second failure: happened around mid or late June 2025, when the central laptop was stolen — on my way back from a meeting, that incident occurred. It is not just the attack, it is what happened to doacWeb after the central laptop was stolen. Our code was tempered, and with no proper knowledge of what is happening, updating the site's script was tempered, and it caused what I technically call; code corruption.

Code corruption occurred on doacWeb after that incident and we lost all data, all data got lost from January 2025 to June 2025 — by God's help doacWeb was restored back to November 2024 backup files, that was how we restored and was six months backward. It better we lost six months data than to lost the doacWeb completely. Just as Jesus Christ statement about loosing part of our body than the whole body to be cast to hell. The November 2024 backup files was done by me, when I was trying to fixed a uploading image error then. We deployed ChatGPT and DeepSeek, and these mentioned AI tools guided us and we conquered the error completely.

DeepSeek did the heavy duty and ChatGPT did the assistant duty. Since July till yesterday, we were enjoying smooth operation and growing. In the closed meeting with Truehost Nigeria, we came to a conclusion of upgrading to one terabytes disk space. It is just for a start, we are getting to unlimited hosting storage disk, little by little. Executive, the third failure: just occurred recently, doacWeb is currently down and still active online. No content can be accessed at this moment, users of doacWeb are to see errors displaying.

doacWeb is not going down, we are down today — but before May 30, 2026; doacWeb will be up and running effectively, contents will be accessed. This funding is coming from my NYSC allowee, so I am fully taking responsibility for the funding. We must allow me take this opportunity to amend my leadership's mistake. I will have a corporate meeting with doac, Invest., to officially place me on zero salary earning but structures ownership, dividends, compensation, and others to me — also making the organisation to take care of my welfare and security annually.

By God's mercy, before May 30, 2026; doacWeb will be globally active and alive. Executive, you don't have to be afraid, your data will never be lost, we have all your data recently backup before yesterday. So we are growing fast, and learning from our failures, faults — and also from those that are before us in the industry and market. Like I said, doacWeb is projected to be monetized by September 2026. And we cannot launch doacWeb on shared hosting limited disk space anymore. We have over 678,890 registered users on doacWeb, and over 2 millions email addresses in our database. So as an advise from the representative from Truehost Nigeria, we are upgrading now to start with 1 terabytes disk space — with monthly payments, because I am paying this from my NYSC allowee every month, a percentage will be automatically deducted for this cause.

I'm 24 years old, so I need to take care of what I caused due to one mistake or late response or the other. Executive, bear with me, I have failed, I know — but walk with me. I have told you earlier, why I created doacWeb, have shared the vision with you. It is possible — we can do it. Over 180 territories and countries using doacWeb, without paid advertisement and partnership. That's a great achievement we recorded as a growing internet company in Africa.
