A yet-to-be-identified man jumped into Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge water today August 8. Commuters who took the road rushed to the barricade of the bridge to see if the man could bee seen calling for help. The police arrived the scene and have cordoned off the area while official rescue team have been alerted

A yet-to-be-identified man jumped into Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge water today August 8. Commuters who took the road rushed to the barricade of the bridge to see if the man could bee seen calling for help. The police arrived the scene and have cordoned off the area while official rescue team have been alerted.

Confirming the incident, the spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said

“Our men are there, controlling the crowd as other rescue teams arrive”.
