Didi-Omah Mentioned One Of The Reasons Many People's Rights Are Abused By Police

One of the reasons many people's rights are abused by law enforcement agency or the police. Is because they don't know how to communicate and they do not know their rights according to the law — constitution governing the country.

I am saying it is necessary to know the constitution of the country and abide by it lawfully. You cannot live by what you don't know, that is to acknowledge that we must know the constitution and abide by the constitution.

Most people start conversation with pride, “Do you know who am I”, really! In front of the police. Executive. We must be humble, speak wisely, speak legally, speak politely, speak right and speak less — at all time. Stay in open place with the police, you should also secure yourself carefully and openly even if you are with police. 

Because no one should be trusted here in this our world. Before moving with the police to the station, know why?, like why am I going to the station?. I will advise you inform your lawyer and those close to you about your interaction with Police before moving your legs down to the station. Because some police officers can abuse you even when you are innocent.

Executive. When you know you just move from check point to Police Station, seek to see the DPO of that station as an authority you are. If the DPO is not available, see the next in command — talk less and rightly to him, and discuss positive ways to get you on your way back to your destination. When deal is met, within the time, pay a visit to that station again — not to make trouble but to be at peace and friendship with all men.

There are many people in the cells today, that don't know why they are there. The constitution is not only for lawyers or those in government — it is for all. Executive. Just as the Bible is for everyone to know and live by it. Executive. It has now become a habit of some police officers to be searching phones, I never saw that in the rights of the police according to the constitution.

It is to say, politely and wisely restrict the police from searching your phone. When you hear word at any check point, like "open your phone let me see"; I will politely ask "where is it written in the law that phone should be search by the police, please". "Can I call someone", at this point, you are to call anyone: maybe your lawyer, your top person in arm forces, your close love ones. But be wise to call those that will get you immediately respond.

Executive. Don't make trouble, don't fight, don't be afraid, don't let anger and pride steps in. Just be careful and strong; and mindful of your words, actions and movements there. Not everything is "officer let settle it here", hahaha! Always don't say much, speak with clarity and speak rightly with politeness — bold and softly!

I am not saying, begging — no. Be bold and speak with understanding and soft words. Executive. Keep your faith in God, not less than an hour, they have set you free. So stop seeing police as a threat. Don't let them search you, without showing you their search warrant! Be legally empowered by the law of the country, and use the knowledge rightly, wisely, politely, openly and with boldness.

Executive. You will not only be happy you did, you will eventually be their friends. No career is a waste, have them as friends — lawyers, doctors, accountants, police, army, politician, pastor, etc. be friendly and careful — build connections, invest in relationships, network with people from other fields to grow your worth. Executive. Remember your network is your net worth.
