Defence Minister, Gen. Christopher Musa Warns Citizens Against Supporting Criminals, Insurgents

The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (retd), has issued a strong warning to Nigerians and others who provide support to terrorists, bandits, insurgents, and other criminal networks, urging them to immediately cease any such activities.

General Musa stated that President Bola Tinubu has given security agencies the authority to not only pursue criminal elements but also target anyone found assisting or backing them. He emphasized that individuals caught aiding criminals would be treated as accomplices under the law.

The minister called on law-abiding citizens to continue their support for the armed forces and security agencies in the nationwide fight for peace and safety. He also highlighted the critical role of timely intelligence, encouraging residents to provide actionable information that can help security forces tackle criminal and insurgent operations across the country.

“Everyone has a part to play in securing our communities. Those who align with criminals must understand they risk facing the full force of the law,” General Musa said.
