Davido has opened up about a key creative moment behind his Grammy-nominated single With You, crediting Omah Lay for pushing him to rewrite a part of his verse shortly before the song was released.

Davido admitted that the decision still makes his heart race when he thinks about it, describing the revised verse as “legendary.” He revealed that Omah Lay played a crucial role in the change, urging him to adjust the final eight bars because the earlier version didn’t fully reflect Davido’s natural sound.
