Dangote drenches Otedola’s business memoir with superlative encomiums

Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man and President of the Dangote Group, has drenched the business memoir of Femi Otedola in metric tonnes of encomiums.

The titan of big business —whose $25 billion, 650,000 barrels-per-day Dangote Refinery has been described as the 8th wonder of the world— wrote a unique blurb praising ‘Making It Big: Lessons from a Life in Business’ by Femi Otedola.

The amiable billionaire, with net worth reportedly inching towards $30 billion, is Otedola’s closest friend.

In an Instagram post by Otedola, the chairman of First HoldCo PLC and Geregu Power PLC today (Wednesday, August 13), Alhaji Dangote’s blurb read:

“In this book, readers have a rare front-row seat adventure into Femi’s compelling and transformative entrepreneurial journey. As someone who came from an entrepreneurial family myself, venturing into business early by selling sweets in primary school, going on to become a trader and now an industrialist, I vividly relate with this enriching account, that effectively unpacks useful insights for surmounting business hurdles, as well as connecting many corporate dots for budding entrepreneurs. This is a highly recommended read for anyone who aspires to be successful in a challenging environment.”

Otedola further announced in the post:

“The ONLY place to secure your copy is: www.makingitbigbook.com.

“Don’t miss your chance to pre-order before August 18th…”
