Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Nigerian midfielder Chrisantus Uche on a season-long loan from Spanish outfit Getafe, the club confirmed on Monday.

The 22-year-old, who will don the No. 12 jersey, arrives in South London with a deal that carries an obligation to buy, meaning Palace can make the move permanent at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.

Uche’s arrival marks the Eagles’ fifth signing of the summer, adding to the captures of Walter Benítez, Borna Sosa, Yeremy Pino, and Jaydee Canvot, as the club continues to strengthen ahead of the new Premier League season.

Reacting to the move, Chairman Steve Parish said: “I’m delighted to welcome Christantus to the club – an exciting young talent, who is also a full international.
