Coffee Break: Vitamin C Serum

I've used this Vitamin C serum from Obagi Medical for years, and it's included in the big 20% off Dermstore sale happening now. My dermatologist recommended it (and sells it, so I usually buy it in office to support a local business) but I'm always tempted during the Dermstore sales…

There isn't a lot to say about it because it's a good product — it has zero smell, it glides on smoothly. The bottle closes tightly to keep it fresh for as long as possible. It comes in three concentrations (10%, 15%, and 20%) — my dermatologist has told me that higher isn't necessarily better, so keep that in mind.

Other big names in the Dermstore sale: Elta MD, Sunday Riley, and Augustinus Bader. A few more personal favorites in the sale: Alterna hair, Chantecaille (love their FutureSkin foundation), and Bioelements (I love Really Rich Moisture for winter skin and their Multi-Tasking eye cream). The vitamin C serum is $60-$155 depending on the concentration and size of the bottle; all of it is eligible for 20% off sale.
