Eintracht Frankfurt’s sporting director, Markus Krosche, has expressed strong confidence in finalizing a deal to secure the loan signing of Donny van de Beek from Manchester United. As reported earlier this week, Van de Beek has undergone a medical examination with the German side, paving the way for a six-month loan arrangement with an option for a permanent transfer valued at around £15m.

Addressing the likelihood of the transfer, Krosche told reporters, “I am very confident that Donny will be with us for the next six months. We still need quality, also across the board. We need experience; we are a very young team. Donny can certainly help us with that.”

Meanwhile, in addition to Van de Beek, another Manchester United player attracting interest in Germany is winger Jadon Sancho. Currently training away from the first team following a public fallout with manager Erik ten Hag, Sancho is being considered for a loan move by Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig, and Stuttgart. However, sources indicate that Borussia Dortmund remains the most probable destination for Sancho if he departs Old Trafford.

United, open to loan offers for Sancho, is seeking an obligatory purchase clause as part of any agreement. Club director John Murtough has recently communicated to fans that the club’s primary focus in the January transfer window is finding new homes for players on the fringes of Ten Hag’s first team, with the prospect of new signings being unlikely this winter.
