Chennai-based professional services automation platform Rocketlane has raised $60 million (Rs 564 crore) in a Series C funding round led by Insight Partners, as it looks to expand its AI capabilities and global presence. Rocketlane, which is headquartered in the United States with roots in Chennai, launched Nitro earlier this month. The platform is designed to deploy AI agents that can identify risks and automate recurring tasks such as migrations, configurations, documentation and testing.

In early deployments, the startup said Nitro could reduce delivery effort by up to 50% while identifying potential risks weeks earlier, allowing services teams to increase capacity without proportional hiring.

“With Nitro, our goal is to give these heroes the superpowers they need to execute their work with radical efficiency and succeed in the Outcome Era, where AI is judged by work completed, risk avoided, and revenue protected,” said co-founder and CEO Srikrishnan Ganesan.

Founded in 2020 by former Freshworks executives Ganesan, Vignesh Girishankar and Deepak Bala, Rocketlane provides professional services automation software that helps enterprises manage project delivery, resources and customer collaboration through a unified platform.

The latest investment brings the company’s total funding to $105 million. It previously raised $24 million in a Series B round in 2024, backed by firms including 8VC and Nexus Venture Partners, and $18m in 2022 to expand its product and team.

Rocketlane said it had more than doubled its revenue over the past year and expanded its international footprint, opening offices in London, New York and San Francisco. The startup claims that it serves more than 750 customers globally, including firms such as Intercom, Glean and Notion.
