Auto brand loyalty rose to 52.6 percent in 2024, up 1.8 points from the previous year and nearly back to the high of 54.5 percent the industry saw in 2020. According to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, 47 individual automakers were surveyed, and 11 of them exceeded that average, up from nine brands last year. Furthermore, the analytics company's data shows that automakers are growing more loyal to gasoline-electrics - perhaps thanks to the hybrid-intensive lineup of mainstream cars like the Honda CR-V and Toyota Camry - as they gradually move away from internal combustion cars.
