APC has Fulfilled the Change it Promised 10 Years Ago – Tinubu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has insisted that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has fulfilled the promise of change it made to Nigerians ten years ago.

Speaking on Tuesday during a book launch and the commissioning of projects in Imo State, the President declared that his administration has broken away from the “old ways” that nearly pushed the country to collapse.

“Ten years ago, our great party, the APC, came into office with the promise of change. That change is being witnessed here today,” Tinubu said.

The President added that those criticising his government are only doing so out of ignorance. According to him, “Our critics can say whatever they want because they don’t know any better; their arithmetic has always been wrong. We understand financial engineering and progressive methodology much better than they do, which is why we are here.”

Tinubu further maintained that Nigeria is no longer where it was a decade ago. “We broke the jinx. Nigeria is no longer where it was 10 years ago; we have passed that. We promised change, and today I can confidently tell you that the worst is over,” he said.
