Anti-ICE Protesters Storm St. Paul Church During Service, Chant Justice for Renee Good

A church service in St. Paul, Minnesota, was disrupted after anti-ICE protesters stormed the sanctuary, claiming that a pastor was linked to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Videos circulating online show protesters entering the church as the service began, chanting slogans including “Justice for Renee Good” and “Who needs justice, we need justice,” while positioning themselves inside the sanctuary during the sermon.

In another clip, the person filming the incident described the action as a “clandestine mission,” alleging that the protesters had just learned that one of the church’s pastors had ties to ICE. The individual claimed the group deliberately waited until the pastor was speaking before making their presence known.

ICE later shared footage of the protest on its official page, condemning the disruption and accusing protesters of expanding their actions beyond officers to religious spaces. The agency wrote:

“Agitators aren’t just targeting our officers. Now they’re targeting churches, too.

They’re going from hotel to hotel, church to church, hunting for federal law enforcement who are risking their lives to protect Americans.

Tim Walz and Jacob Frey are responsible for whipping these mobs into a frenzy and then allowing them to run rampant.

We won’t be deterred. ICE isn’t going anywhere”
