AMAPRO 2026: Amapro SSA stun Abraysports as Discovery FA, Blinz FC, Dickalo FA, Gaa Akanbi Record Victories on Day 3

The group stage of the 2026 AMAPRO Football Championship came to an exciting conclusion on Day 3, with several teams booking their places in the knockout stage after impressive performances.

Discovery FA edged TOE FA 1-0 in a closely contested encounter, with Zaharadeen Ibrahim netting a late winner to hand the Bauchi-based side a crucial victory.

Blinz FC comfortably defeated already-eliminated HMK 2-0.

Aremu Owolabi and Adesola Samson were on target as Blinz sealed a convincing win.

HOP FA and NA Royal played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in one of the day’s most exciting fixtures, with NA Royal coming from behind to earn a valuable point.

Dickalo FA produced one of the standout performances of the day with a commanding 4-1 victory over Cornerstone FC.

Abbas Yakubu scored twice in the 10th and 50th minutes, while Ibrahim Ganusa and Mathew Adeyemi added further goals in the 59th and 68th minutes respectively.

Adeyemi Nifemi grabbed a late consolation for Cornerstone FC.

Amapro SSA stunned former champions Abraysports FC with a brilliant 2-0 victory.

Farouk Lawal opened the scoring in the 4th minute before Adam Saheed wrapped up the win with a goal in the 65th minute.

Gaa Akanbi FC also secured an impressive 3-1 win over Ka’ah FA.

Ibrahim Abdulafeez gave Gaa Akanbi an early lead in the 10th minute, but Ahmed Sodiq equalized eight minutes later.

Abdulafeez restored his side’s advantage with his second goal of the match before Oladipo Nasir sealed the victory with a third goal.

Dohz SA salvaged a 1-1 draw against Laycon FC through a late penalty converted by Oni Adebayo after Olalekan Aransiola had put the Offa-based side ahead in the 63rd minute.

In the final fixture, Araba FC were awarded a walkover after NPFL All Stars failed to honour the match.

Both sides had already been eliminated before the fixture.
