All-new 2027 Mercedes‑Maybach S-Class Arrives As The Ultimate Luxury Limousine

The all-new 2027 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class has arrived as the pinnacle of the new luxury saloon range, nearly two months after German autogiant lifted the lid on the revised Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

The new flagship will be available in Mercedes-Maybach S 580, the
Mercedes-Maybach S 580 e with EQ Hybrid Technology and the range-topping Mercedes-Maybach S 680 – the latter offered with the celebrated V12 in selected markets.

Finished in the two-tone body paint, the new Mercedes‑Maybach S-Class boasts a reimagined Maybach grille – now 20 percent larger, illuminated standing star, and C-pillars, which are now adorned by illuminated Maybach emblems on each side.

Other highlights on the outside includes new 20-inch/21-inch Maybach multi-spoke forged wheels, which feature a new upright floating Mercedes-Benz star that remains still as the wheels rotate.

Inside, the standard MBUX Superscreen unites a 14.4-inch central touchscreen, a 12.3-inch passenger display and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster – also available in a 3D version.

In addition to the executive rear seats, a dedicated refrigerated compartment and silver‑plated Robbe & Berking champagne flutes, rear seat passengers also gets two 13.1‑inch displays that offer intuitive command of climate, blinds and rear‑seat entertainment with effortless clarity.

The Mercedes‑Maybach S 580 is powered by a V8, which develops 530-hp and 553 lb-ft of torque, while the S 580 e with EQ Hybrid Technology gets a revised six‑cylinder petrol engine (M 256 Evo). The range-topping S680 keeps its 6.0-liter turbocharged V12 with 621 hp and 664 lb-ft.

Mercedes-Benz is yet to reveal the pricing for the new 2027 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. But production of the new flagship will begin next month at its state-of-the-art “Factory 56” plant in Sindelfingen, where the short and long-wheelbase version of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan are also produced.
