Aina confident as Forest gear up for massive night against Villa

Ola Aina has expressed confidence ahead of Nottingham Forest’s UEFA Europa League semi-final first-leg clash against Aston Villa.

Villa will make the trip to the City Ground on Thursday night, with Forest heading into the encounter in high spirits after a dominant 5-0 win over Sunderland last week.

Speaking at a press conference, Aina insisted there is little pressure on the team despite the magnitude of the occasion.

“I don’t think there’s that much pressure,” the Nigeria international said.

“The team and club are all proud to be in this situation in the semi-final. We just want to work hard and get the best result we can, which is hopefully a win tomorrow.”

The defender described the fixture as a special moment for everyone involved, highlighting the excitement within the squad.

“I think that would be fantastic. Just to say you’ve contributed to something like that is something that nobody can takeaway from you,” he declared.

“Hopefully tomorrow is another step towards that.”
