Autojosh brings you 9 things – mostly eye-catching features – which sets the all-new 2026 Bugatti Tourbillon hypercar sports car apart from its predecessors, including its Pagani-like Dihedral Doors and the watch-inspired instrument cluster.

Speaking on the new Tourbillon hypercar, Bugatti CEO Mate Rimac said :

“It is crazy to build a new V16 engine, to integrate with a new battery pack and electric motors and to have a real Swiss-made watchmaker instrument cluster and 3D-printed suspension parts and a crystal glass centre console. But it is what Ettore [Bugatti] would have done, and it is what makes a Bugatti incomparable and timeless.”

Below are 9 new eye-catching features that sets the all-new 2026 Bugatti Tourbillon apart.

Name

Yes… the name. Unlike the Veyron and Chiron named after legendary Bugatti racing drivers of the past, the name Tourbillon, a French word, originates from a watchmaking invention designed to eliminate timekeeping inconsistencies caused by gravity.

Dihedral Doors

In a first for a modern Bugatti, the Tourbillon uses a Pagani-like electrically-powered dihedral doors, which not only allow for easy entry into the vehicle but provide a dramatic sense of arrival.

Analogue Instrument Cluster

Unlike the Chiron with digital clusters, the Tourbillon uses an analogue, watch-inspired instrument cluster made up of more than 600 parts and constructed from titanium as well as gemstones such as sapphire and ruby. It is housed inside the steering wheel.

Revolutionary steering wheel

The Tourbillon features a revolutionary, eye-catching steering wheel with a fixed central hub, where only the outer rim rotates, allowing the analogue instrument cluster to remain fix and visible at all times.

Retractable Screen

The Tourbillon also features an high-definition digital screen that retracts into the dashboard when not in use. According to Bugatti, their goal was to make sure that the Tourbillon remain “timeless” even after screen technology becomes outdated in the future.

Electrified Powertrain

Tourbillon is the first Bugatti in more than 20 years not powered by the iconic W16 engine. The electrified car boasts 1,800-hp and 2,300Nm from a 1,000-horsepower naturally aspirated V16 engine plus 3 electric motors with 800-hp.

0-60 mph, Top-speed

Bugatti says the Tourbillon hyper sports car will launch from rest to 62 mph (0–100 km/h) in 2 seconds flat and reach a top-speed limited to 236 mph (380 km/h). With the speed key, it has a top speed of 445 km/h (277 mph).

Battery-pack

Tourbillon’s three electric motors are driven by a 25 kWh battery-pack, which allows the hyper sports car to go all-electric for an estimated 37 miles (59.5 kilometers).

Price

Just 250 examples of the 2026 Bugatti Tourbillon (or half as many as the Chiron) will ever be produced, with each starting at 3.8 million euros (roughly $4.1 million), before unlimited options. In comparison, the Chiron starts at $3 million.
