Analysis of performance in the SME segment according to KPMG Nigeria, reveals dynamism in this year’s ranking, where despite lower levels of overall satisfaction for SMEs, Fidelity Bank and Ecobank make the greatest improvements with both banks moving up more than four places into the top five banks.

FCMB emerged 1st while Access Bank came 3rd.

Statistics also showed that majority of SMEs are unlikely to recommend their bank than how well they are likely to do so. This call for a better relationship between banks and her SME customers especially as we are venturing into the new year.
