Chioma Opara, a sixteen year old secondary school student from Imo state has won a whooping three hundred and forty thousand dollars ($340,000) foreign universities scholarship after excellent performance in her West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations.

Chioma Opara, a sixteen year old secondary school student from Imo state has won a whooping three hundred and forty thousand dollars ($340,000) foreign universities scholarship after excellent performance in her West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations.

We understands that Miss Opara scored 345/400 in the JAMB examination, and straight As in her WAEC exam which earned her the 340,000 dollars worth of scholarships in two universities abroad.

Chioma Opara, the last of her parent’s four children was awarded two different scholarships to Universities in Canada and the United States after her incredible performance in two of her major examination as a final-class student in high school.

She has always been an extraordinarily brilliant student right from a young age. Chioma was enrolled in high school at the age of 8.

Chioma secured every prize, position, and certificate attached to internal and external examinations that she took part as reported by State Post.

She partook in the Annual National Mathematics Competition (ANMC) organized by the Nigerian Tulip International Colleges, a 21st-century educational hub focusing on primary to secondary education development, using Nigerian and British Curricula.

Chioma performed excellently well and was presented with a 100 percent scholarship by Nigerian Turkish International College (NTIC) into her girls’ section in 2016 which opened a new chapter for her academic excellence.
