13-Year-Old Girl Arrested for Slitting Her Mother Throat After Phone Ban

In a devastating and highly unusual case emerging from St. Petersburg, Russia, a 13-year-old girl has been arrested following the murder of her mother, Svetlana Cheglyakova. The alleged motive centers on a dispute over the teenager’s excessive social media use.

The tragedy began after Svetlana, concerned about her daughter’s online habits, took decisive action.
