Zealthix Technologies Raises $1.1 Mn Seed Funding Led by Unicorn India Ventures

Zealthix Technologies, an Indian healthtech and Insurtech SaaS startup, has secured $1.1 million in seed funding, with participation from AlphaGen Venture Capital and lead investor Unicorn India Ventures.

The fresh capital will be channelled into business development and technology enhancements. Over the next year, Zealthix plans to expand its network of healthcare providers, broaden its OPD stack, and empower insurers to launch health products faster with data-driven insights.

Founded in 2023 by IIT graduates Abhishek Kumar and Dr Avinash Gupta, Zealthix is positioning itself as India’s first interoperable Health Cloud Exchange. It is also one of the first digital healthcare platforms certified on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) and an official partner of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) under the National Health Authority (NHA).

The platform focuses on solving one of India’s most underserved insurance segments: outpatient department (OPD) coverage management. Zealthix offers a cloud-based middleware platform that automates workflows, standardises health data, and enables insurers and healthcare providers to design and deliver cashless OPD and comprehensive healthcare plans. 

Its provider platform uses AI-driven tools for partner management, payments, compliance, and customer engagement.

“Zealthix is redefining how OPD and healthcare plans are delivered in India, and we see immense potential in making health plans access seamless and affordable,” Pankaj Gupta, co-founder at AlphaGen VC, said.

Zealthix’s innovative approach meets a clear market need, and its scalable business model aligns well with industry trends, positioning it for success.
