In her recent sit down with Chris Van Vliet, one of the subjects Stephanie Vaquer covered was going from NXT to the main roster. The woman who’s scheduled to face IYO SKY for the vacant WWE Women’s title this weekend at Wrestlepalooza told CVV how she was able to keep her entrance music from the Developmental show, but she was unable to bring another thing she loved about her run on the Florida-based brand:

“I love Booker T. I miss Booker T on Raw. Because he really made people feel my move. In my last title match in NXT, I saw Booker and was like, ‘This is for you.’”

“My move” is, of course, the Devil’s Kiss. It’s been massively over since La Primera first added the repeated headscissors DDT to her reportoire, something she told Van Vliet happened by accident… and that she ignored advice to stop doing it

“I was training. I tried to do something with my coach. I said, ‘If I do this and this.’ I don’t remember it well, but the position changed and I said, ‘This is nice. You can take a DDT, but many DDTs, and not to the neck.’ I said, ‘Okay, I like this.’…

“I remember the first time I did it in Mexico, and many people said it looked weird and not good. I said, ‘No, I like it.’ ‘Maybe don’t do it. It looks weird.’ ‘No, I like it.’ I kept it for a long time. Now, look. It’s a big move.”

Vaquer was back in NXT last night (Sept. 16) for a special Homecoming episode from the show’s former venue on the campus Full Sail University. Her team-up with fellow alumna Rhea Ripley & Lyra Valkyria defeated Fatal Attraction with an assist from Lola Vice.

With Booker T feet away at commentary, Stephanie had a special treat in store for her favorite announcer. During a key moment in the finish, Vaquer and Ripley teamed up to showcase the Devil’s Kiss for Book… and thousands of others who need to be “bonk”ed and sent to “horny jail” whenever the Chilean star wraps her legs around an opponent’s head:

Somehow, the two-time (two-time) WWE Hall of Famer was able to finish the broadcast.
