Yamal urges Barcelona to sign Osimhen as Lewandowski successor

Lamine Yamal has reportedly urged FC Barcelona to sign Victor Osimhen during the summer transfer window.

With Robert Lewandowski approaching the latter stage of his time in Catalonia, the club is intensifying its search for a long-term replacement.

According to reports, Yamal believes the Super Eagles forward—currently playing for Galatasaray—would be the ideal addition to Barcelona’s attack, describing him as the missing piece needed to lead the line effectively.

The young winger is said to view Osimhen as a striker capable of easing defensive pressure while creating space for wide players, thereby improving the team’s overall attacking play.

Although Osimhen’s market value is estimated at around €75 million, Galatasaray are reportedly expected to demand a fee exceeding €100 million for the Nigerian international.
