WWE NXT signs five to replace recent call-ups, including the Evolve champ

Je’Von Evans is on Raw and Oba Femi is on his way there. SmackDown added Trick Williams, NXT General Manager Ava had some open spots on the WWE developmental brand’s men’s roster.

She did so tonight (Jan. 13), with five new names joining NXT — mostly from the new lower levels of the WWE system, the Independent Development (ID) program, and the weekly show which mixes ID talent with Performance Center trainees, Evolve.

Ava, somewhat reluctantly based on the picture, signed the trio of Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes — aka The Vanity Project. The trio has appeared on NXT before, and Drake is the reigning Evolve Men’s champ.

Vanity Project is taking over Tuesday nights.
