The show opens with some flyby shots of the city before cutting right to our usual montage of talent arriving at the arena.

We then get a hype reel for the show.

Chelsea Green & “All Ego” Ethan Page (c) vs. Joe Hendry & Thea Hail (AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship)

Hail and Green to start, Thea gets the better of her and makes her wave her arm from side to side, so Chelsea scrambles away and tags Page in. Collar and elbow, headlock takeover, headscissors counter, do the same dance in the other direction and Ethan scrambles away. Hendry with a wristlock, reversed, roll through, All Ego paintbrushes the back of his head!

Off the ropes, Joe gets the better of him, delayed vertical, Page kicking his legs but Hendry completes the suplex and Green breaks it up! Hail neutralizes her and then puts the double wristlock on Ethan! Heels get the better of the faces in the corners, a dropkick puts Green into Page and then Thea hits a tornado DDT on him!

Jordynne Grace and Lola Vice are chatting backstage about Kelani Jordan’s problem and what it might be.

Jordan rolls up and Vice tells her to say it to her face. They bicker back and forth, Jordynne says it’s Kelani’s last week with the title, Jordan calls her jealous and says she’s gonna hold the title for a long time, and we go to break.

Back from commercial, we get a clip from the John Cena interview about how he cares more about being authentic than winning the entire crowd over.

Ava Raine appears backstage to talk about NXT Deadline and the return of the Iron Survivor Challenge. In the past legends have picked the entrants, but this year she wants to do things different and one individual will be making all the choices this year, the Greatest of All Time, John Cena. And he’ll be doing it next week.

Lil Yachty is shown in the crowd.

Tavion Heights is interviewed from the Okerlund Position.

He says 2025 has been a wild ride and there’s been huge growing pains for him. He needs to lock in and he’s confident about being picked for Iron Survivor Challenge and winning it–

JOSH BRIGGS BLINDSIDES HIM AND THEY BRAWL OUT INTO THE CONCOURSE AS SECURITY TRIES TO PULL THEM APART.

Backstage, Zaria asks Sol Ruca if she’s sure she wants to fight tonight and Sol says she’s the only person who can win her title back.

Back to the half-crab, Ruca crawling, Zaria rushes over and grabs the towel! Sol begs her not to do it, Blake wrenches the crab back to about vertical and Zaria feels she has no choice…

Blake Monroe wins by submission when Zaria throws in the towel, retaining the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

Fatal Influence are chatting backstage about how Gold Rush is their event and it starts tonight.

We get a recap of Oba Femi returning last week.

Ricky Saints is shown walking backstage to send us to break.

Back from commercial, “Absolute” Ricky Saints makes his entrance.

Before he can say or do anything, Oba Femi makes his entrance.

Saints says Oba thought he was gonna steamroll him but he saw that the title was grinding him down months ago, so he took his shot and he won. But Oba’s mistake in all of that was underestimating Ricky Saints, and people like him don’t know how to handle losing. He went back to Nigeria while Ricky held it down here and defended NXT against TNA and the train kept rolling on.

The people are glad Oba is back, but don’t get to thinking you’re going to take the title from Ricky. Femi says Saints is the exact same as he left him, and he knew he could beat that same guy and he didn’t want to get distracted by the TNA nonsense or him and Trick Williams competing over who is best dressed, oh no, that nonsense is beneath the Ruler.

So he went home and trained in the soils of the motherland to create the version of him that Saints cannot beat, and he’s had his time in the sun but now the sun is setting and he is the one who will cast the shadow and destroy him. The Destroyer, the Bringer of War is back, and your daddy is home.

Ricky gives him the rematch at Deadline and lets the daddy line go without comment.

Enter Trick Williams.

He says it’s not over but Myles Borne attacks him from behind and says payback is a bitch.

As for Saints and Femi, he says they’re looking at the next Iron Survivor and he’ll see one of them at New Year’s Evil.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, Ava Raine is giving Myles Borne a talking to about attacking Trick Williams when she gets a phone call and solves it by booking Borne against Trick Williams next week.

We cut away as she goes “Dezmond, what?!”

Backstage, Josh Briggs and Tavion Heights are still brawling and eventually Briggs powerbombs Heights through a table!

Darkstate (Dion Lennox & Osiris Griffin) (c) vs. Je’Von Evans & Leon Slater (NXT Tag Team Championship)

Chaos early, Slater with a nearfall on Lennox, Griffin takes Evans down off-screen and tags in, running powerslam, cover… JE’VON BREAKS IT UP WITH A DOUBLE-STOMP! To the floor, Evans jumps over Osiris and lands on the desk, back in, tijeras on Dion, dropkick on Dion, cover for two! Whip reversed, Slater in with a gamengiri, Arabian Press Frankensteiner from Evans!

Stereo dropkicks send Osiris to the floor, stereo planchas wipe Darkstate out and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Evans gets worked over for a little bit, hot tag to Slater, lighting ’em up with punches, Black Magic, handspring back elbow wipes Griffin out! Stomping Lennox out, diving crossbody, cover for two! Je’Von holds the ropes and Slater lands a hell of a dive! Putting Osiris back inside, Ace Crusher, Evans up top… GRIFFIN KICKS OUT OF THE FROG SPLASH!

Tag made, double-team on Leon, Je’Von tries to make the save but Darkstate get out of the way and Evans just splashes Slater! Darkstate take advantage…

Darkstate win by pinfall with a lateral press from Osiris Griffin on Leon Slater, retaining the NXT Tag Team Championship.

Kendal Grey is chatting with Wren Sinclair backstage about how she’s locked in and gonna send Lainey Reid to the Grey Area.

Sinclair talks about how Charles Dempsey is ghosting her but decides to focus on the WrenQCC for the time being, and so we go to break.

Back from commercial, we get a clip of John Cena’s pec injury and return at the 2008 Royal Rumble.

We get a hype reel for WWE LFG Season 2 winner Shiloh Hill.

Commentary hypes up next week’s show.

A hype reel for Sean Legacy follows.

Fatal Influence make their entrance to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Zaria and Sol Ruca are having an argument over Zaria throwing the towel in.

Zaria says she wouldn’t let her injure herself onto the shelf for a year over her pride and Ruca counters that her pride made her a double champion. Zaria reasonably points out you can’t be a champion if you’re hurt and wants to table it until later, and Sol stomps off.

Jacy Jayne vs. Tatum Paxley (c) (NXT Women’s Championship)

Trading heavy overhand chops in the early going, shot off, drop down, Paxley has a drop toehold scouted, arm drag, off the ropes, Oklahoma roll gets a crucifix, no fall! Jacy ducks under a lariat, tijeras connects, to the floor, Tatum dives and stands tall with the Culling to send us to break!

Back from commercial, superkick, both women down and out. Trading strikes from their knees and to their feet, big desperate right hands, whip across, elbows from Paxley! Kick connects, German suplex, she’s fired up! Somersault leg drop gets Tatum a nearfall, Jayne grabs a waistlock, standing switch, Jacy backs her into the corner for the break.

Knees put Paxley into the turnbuckles, cannonball senton in the corner, Jayne goes up top, Tatum cuts her off with an enzuigiri! Climbing up with her, avalanche fisherman neckbreaker and a sitout spinebuster… NO DEAL! Folding press for two, action to the floor, Jacy blasts Paxley with a Penalty Kick off the apron!

Back inside, rolling elbow… TATUM KICKS OUT! Fallon Henley runs interference, Izzi Dame throws the title belt in for Paxley to use but Jacy grabs it instead! Tatum defuses the situation, ends up on the floor, Shawn Spears and Niko Vance keep her from getting back in and Izzi blasts her with a kick!

They throw Paxley back inside for Jayne…

Jacy Jayne wins by pinfall with the rolling elbow, becoming your new NXT Women’s Champion.

Post-match, the Culling stand over Paxley’s fallen body and Izzi kneels down to grab her by the hair as we fade to black.

That’s the show, folks.
