Wikki Tourists have completed the signing of midfielder Naziru Auwalu ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

Auwalu joined the Bauchi Elephants on a free transfer, penning a two-year contract with Abdullahi Maikaba’s side.

The experienced midfielder departed Kano Pillars after his contract expired at the end of last season.

Auwalu is expected to play a key role in the heart of Wikki Tourists’ midfield in the upcoming campaign.

The Bauchi-based club will open their NPFL campaign with a home fixture against Plateau United on Friday, August 22.
