Portuguese whistleblower Rui Pinto, the hacker whose leaks formed a central part of the case against Manchester City, has claimed he possesses additional information yet to be disclosed.

In a recent update shared, Pinto indicated that the material already used by the Premier League does not represent the full extent of what he uncovered regarding the club’s financial practices.

Pinto is currently under witness protection following years of involvement in exposing documents linked to City’s alleged breaches of financial rules.

His earlier disclosures contributed significantly to the independent commission’s findings that the club arranged sham commercial contracts to disguise over £830 million in funding and artificially inflate revenues.

The development comes just days after the Premier League published a redacted version of the commission’s report confirming City’s guilt on the majority of charges.
