Forgiveness is about clearing your mind of grudges and allowing yourself to heal. It also means that you don't use someone's mistake to make them feel lesser whenever you disagree.

In most relationships, people use each other's past mistakes to win over each other. When you repeatedly bring up someone's mistake and make them feel inferior, you only discourage them from improving and becoming better.

Forgive people and support them to improve. Don't use hurtful words or harsh behaviour to let them down. It will only complicate your relationship.
