WeWork India Q4 profit jumps 80%, FY26 revenue crosses Rs 2,440 crore

WeWork India reported strong growth in revenue and profitability in the fourth quarter of FY26, driven by higher demand for managed workspace services and improved operational efficiency. The company’s consolidated revenue from operations rose 29.1% year-on-year to Rs 696 crore in the quarter ended 31 March 2026, up from Rs 539 crore in the same period a year earlier. WeWork India reported strong growth in revenue and profitability in the fourth quarter of FY26, driven by higher demand for managed workspace services and improved operational efficiency.

The company’s consolidated revenue from operations rose 29.1% year-on-year to Rs 696 crore in the quarter ended 31 March 2026, up from Rs 539 crore in the same period a year earlier. Total income increased to Rs 715.36 crore, including Rs 9.54 crore in other income and Rs 9.75 crore in finance income.

Net profit for the quarter climbed to Rs 66 crore from Rs 36.7 crore a year earlier, while profit before tax stood at Rs 44 crore compared with a loss of Rs 13.4 crore in Q4 FY25.

For the full financial year FY26, consolidated revenue from operations grew 25.2% to Rs 2,440 crore, compared with Rs 1,949 crore in FY25. For FY26, consolidated total income rose to Rs 2,490.43 crore from Rs 2,024.00 crore in the previous year.

The company posted a full-year profit before tax of Rs 52.9 crore, reversing a loss of Rs 156.8 crore in FY25. For FY26, reported consolidated net profit stood at Rs 74.9 crore, compared with Rs 128.2 crore in the previous year. However, the company’s shareholder letter said PAT more than doubled on a pre-exceptional/IGAAP-equivalent basis.

On a standalone basis, WeWork India reported quarterly total income of Rs 711.8 crore, up from Rs 551 crore in Q4 FY25. Revenue from operations increased to Rs 692.9 crore from Rs 535.6 crore.

Standalone profit before tax came in at Rs 42.2 crore against a loss of Rs 12.8 crore a year earlier. Net profit rose to Rs 64.4 crore, aided by deferred tax benefits, compared with Rs 37.5 crore in the same quarter last year.

The company’s earnings per share improved to Rs 4.88 basic and Rs 4.76 diluted on a consolidated basis during the quarter, up from Rs 2.76 and Rs 2.74 respectively a year earlier.

Depreciation and amortisation remained the company’s largest cost component at Rs 267 crore in Q4 FY26. Employee benefit expenses stood at Rs 51 crore, while finance costs were Rs 159 crore. Total quarterly expenses rose to Rs 672 crore.

WeWork India also reported stronger cash generation during the year. Consolidated cash flow from operating activities increased to Rs 1,734.13 crore from Rs 1,289.95 crore.

The company said cash outflows from financing activities were largely linked to repayment of borrowings, lease liabilities and interest payments.

Its balance sheet expanded significantly during the year, with total assets rising to Rs 7,092 crore as of 31 March 2026, compared with Rs 5,392 crore a year earlier. Total equity attributable to owners of the parent also increased to nearly Rs 298 crore.

Consolidated cash and cash equivalents stood at Rs 62.65 crore, up from Rs 23.56 crore.
