The West Singhbhum district administration has firmly denied rumors of abolishing the Manki and Munda posts, vital to the traditional self-governance system. Deputy Commissioner Chandan Kumar affirmed their integral role in revenue collection and issuing lineage certificates. Vacant posts will be filled through Gram Sabha, and action will be taken against those spreading misinformation.
