We Traditional Rulers Never Said People Should Not Go On The Streets, It Is Their Right- Ooni Of Ife

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has stated that traditional rulers never said people should not go on the streets to protest.

He made the statement while speaking during an interactive session on Channels TV.

In a viral video that was shared online, the king stated that every Nigerian has the right to protest. He said everyone knows that there is a lot of suffering in the country but it is not peculiar to Nigeria alone. The King however, stated that they must ensure that public assets are not destroyed.
