WATCH: Iraqi fighter Shakir Al-Tekreeti Wins on His ONE Debut

Iraq has a new Muay Thai star. The martial art may be in its development stages in Iraq, but in Shakir Al-Tekreeti there is a role model for all those wanting to take on the ‘art of eight limbs’. Born in Baghdad, he now trains out of Pattaya Thailand and is making a name for himself on the tough Muay Thai scene.  The 26-year-old has also made headlines with his ONE Championship debut, where he won a tough decision win over French standout Bampara Kouyate.
